Global Gallery Volunteer opportunities: what can I do to Help?

Join our Team! Work with several other people to make the following teams productive:

Teams

1)      Volunteer Recruitment and Coordination:

Involves scheduling current volunteers, contacting folks who have shown interest in volunteering, developing media to attract new volunteers and sharing about volunteer opportunities.

2)      Public Relations and Marketing:

Involves writing press releases, letters to support organizations and developing other marketing tools at a minimum cost. The goal is to share the mission of the Gallery with as much of the population as possible in creative ways (including web site development).

3)      Newsletters, flyers and signage development:

Involves researching newsletter topics, writing, designing and sending the newsletter (email and land mail), as well as flyers for customer education and signage.

4)      Off-site sales:

Involves scheduling off-site sales, staffing sales and sale preparation with volunteers, and organizing merchandize to be ordered, packed and displayed for sale.

5)      Special Events:

Involves planning, organizing and advertising special events including auctions, volunteer recognition, International dinner and special exhibits in the Gallery.

6)      In-store Display and Marketing/Retail support:

Involves creating a gallery space that invites and educates consumers about fair trade and hand crafted art form around the world. Includes rearranging merchandize, and ordering interesting and valuable fairly traded products.
