Global Gallery has four locations: 682 North High Street in the Short North (just north of downtown Columbus and the Convention Center and a few miles south of the OSU campus.); 148 Easton Town Center, Columbus (on the first floor of Easton Station Mall); 230 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs, Ohio, and our new location at German Village: 190 East Whittier St. Columbus, OH.

| About the Gallery |
Global Gallery is a non-profit, volunteer operated, marketplace in the Short North that promotes fair-trade and cultural awareness. Fair Trade products and handicrafts from around the world in our store help provide each artisan with a fair wage to support their families. The guidelines of Fair Trade dictate our pricing. In addition to educating our customers and community about the importance of Fair Trade and what a fair price makes for artisans in impoverished countries, we work on raising the awareness of cultural and human value of each item.

| Mission |
Our Mission is to promote Fair Trade and cultural awareness through marketing of crafts from artisans in third world countries and telling their stories.
We work on making ourselves known to the consumer:
1) Our store and online sales-are one of the priorities to us as artisans in more than 30 third world countries will benefit from increased sales.
2)Special Events- If you are interested in workshops and presentations, contact us and we will come to you.

In September of 1991, five area churches helped to open the Global Gallery. By providing money to start the operation and volunteers to help run the store, these churches began to fulfill their idea of how to help economically challenged individuals and cooperatives.

| Education |
Education is the key to helping people understand how their purchase affects a producer's life: the cultural tradition that made the product's creation possible, and the effects of sustainable development on people's lives-both producer and consumer. Global Gallery strives to educate the consumers during our various special events or just talking to them in store, explaining them the basics of how to be a conscious consumer and where to look for special information about it.
